Shipping
We ship our pups to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies, provided there isn’t a layover without kennel services.
Alaska Airline requires a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian to fly, and we do require new owners to pay this fee.
Alaska Airlines is more expensive, but they are an almost guaranteed flight on a daily basis. Very rarely do they cancel flights. They also fly to more cities, including Ketchikan, Wrangell, Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks.
We use ACE Air Cargo as well, and while they may be cheaper and less strict about regulations, they are weather dependent for flights. As long as you are prepared to reschedule your pickup of your new baby at any moment, this is a good choice for in alaska shipping. They ship north to Juneau and Anchorage only.
Any cities not on these lists must have special travel planned in advance with us as flight and airline changes are needed.
If you have questions or need to know more, feel free to contact us.

Travel Supplies
We do request new owners purchase their own airline approved kennel and accessories for their new pups travel time. We prefer the size around 20”x21”x28”. Once purchased you can send it to us directly and we’ll prep it for your baby.
This includes the kennels itself (make sure it specifies Airline Approved).
A pad or bed for the bottom, so your little one isn’t laying on hard, cold plastic.
travel bowls that clip to the door for water and food. (This is important because on the minimal chance the pup is stranded at a different location due to weather or maintenance, the airlines can feed and water them.)
(optional) a toy or blanket for their comfort during travel. I do provide a toy and small blanket with momma’s scent on it, but if you have a specific toy you want, I will use it instead.

Vaccinations
We do vaccinate and deworm our pups at or after their sixth week of age. We do this for their health and protections as well as it being a requirement for some airlines in order for them to fly.
We also request a health check from the vet (and now would be the time to get a health certificate if needed). If there are any health concerns for you pup we will inform you immediately and you can discuss with either us or our vet what options you and your pup have.
The vaccinations, deworming, and health check are all included in the price for you pup. If a health certificate is needed for an airline, that will be an additional cost paid for by the new owner.
Traveling
We do NOT ship our puppies before they are 8 weeks old.
The reason for this is that traveling is an ordeal on the best of days. They have a boat ride and a plane ride in order to reach their new homes and we care about their health and safety above all else.
Pups need the full eight weeks with their mom and siblings in order to reach the milestones that we look for in order for them to leave us. They learn social skills with bigger dogs, get early training from us, and I have to know they are fully independent from momma in terms of food and water.
If they are (and they usually are), completely on hard chow and in full health, only then we will ship them at eight weeks old.
